Coronado is an airbase and F35s and F14s or F15s were doing exercises on our last day. Feels like they're right over you. When there were 4 of them, it was very loud :) Got a number of shots of them with The Del as the backdrop.

The boat is now in. I will have some great shots once I start taking it out. We have eagles on the lake. Hope I can get a picture. I did have one visitor that likes the view on top of the Bimini.

The Eagels in your area aren't there all year? Milwaukee County finally began to have nesting pairs after a 100+ year absence- others reported them close to 5 years ago, although I don't know if they were nesting (I had heard about a few pairs nesting very close to the Northern edge of the county before seeing any or hearing of them at specific locations). I saw a pair a few years ago as they flew SE and most recently, one had to veer away from my vehicle to avoid flying into it. I slowed to watch and it went SW, then another flew from the South and met with it.

This was in a park a few miles from my house, over the Milwaukee River- the water was too polluted and Oxygen-depleted for many species like Trout & Salmon to survive- now, the waterfall that's even closer to home has spawning runs and lots of fish. The water has almost no odor and it smells mildly of fish, not sewage and other pollutants.

I shot this photo about a month ago-

The eagles seem to come and go. A few years ago they were there with a huge nest and a couple of young. The next year they were gone and the nest has been empty since then. Looks like they’re back which is beautiful to see.

We have lost some, too- WI and Milwaukee have too many idiots who think it's OK to shoot or poison Bald Eagles, then act surprised when they're caught and learn that these are Federally protected.
