Here's a thread to share one's outdoor shots if so inclined. Since I go to the trailer cottage weekly, I usually end up taking a few pics. Here are some of the latest.

Trying to capture the moon shining through leaves

I managed to get on the water 3 times this past weekend with the shortest paddle being a 7.5km trip. These were taken at different days. The first one shows how much the water level dropped this year. Only the tallest stumps would protrude through the water in May.

Seriously, I have no life.
Where did that 2nd moon come from? ;) :D

Great shots; phone or camera.

This was taken on the hiking trail in Freshwater Bay, Newfoundland, during our recent visit. On the horizon, in the centre of the photo, you can see a small bump. That's Cabot Tower at the top of Signal Hill, marking the entrance to St. John's harbour. The small white object below it is Fort Amherst Lighthouse, which is on the opposite side of the harbour entrance, which is quite narrow.

This is the view in the opposite direction, looking towards Cape Spear, the eastern-most point of land in North America.

This is the 'barachois', in Freshwater Bay. A barachois is a coastal lagoon partially or totally separated from the ocean by a sand or shingle bar. The water behind the barrier is fed by a brook, so it is brackish, rather than fresh or salty.

Beautiful shots!!! NFLD is such a picturesque province. I've been all over that island. My longest stint was landing in Deer Lake and driving up to St Anthony.

Thanks for sharing!!!

We completed the Niagara section of the Bruce Trail last weekend. Over 16km from Cave Spring Conservation Area to Grimsby. Very rocky in sections. Nice morning but hot and humid afternoon. 86km done and another 814km to go!

Nice pics. Keep em coming.
Exactly!! Nice to see different parts of the world through pics. The only thing I ask is to provide a location where the shots were taken. "BEHIND THE CAMERA, PHONE, OR LENSE" doesnt count as a location. :)

Nothing worth posting here in Florida.
But feel free to keep making me jealous of the beautiful scenery everywhere else.
