Not sure what the CEA ratinds are you refer to.

'But, indoor antennas are tough, unless you can go into the attic in which case, Radio Shack has omni antennas for FM.

We could use a bit more information, like what's the antenna for? HD? If it's for HD check out the Silver Sensor. I had great luck with it. I have a used one, if you are interested in it PM me.
