I recently won a set of Yamaha NS-AW350/NS-AW350W Outdoor Speakers and I plan on mounting them under the overhang of the house at near my pool deck. I do not know much about hooking up speakers so now I am looking for some help with options on how I can get my music to the speakers. My current stereo system is old analog so I am willing to buy some new stuff. Currenty most of my music is in MP3 format on my PC. I am open to all new ideas of ways I could do this.
For example one person recommended getting a Yahama home theater receiver and run speaker wire in the attic to where it is located. Someone else recommend a cheaper option of buying a $60 sound board and locate it in the attic. Make a short run of speaker wire to the sound board and the buy a $15 blue tooth adapter that I could connect to from my PC or other blue tooth devices (kindle).
I have no experience at this so any recommendation of what product to use and best value would be appreciated.
