My projector will power up, find input source and then start projecting picture. After about 2-3 minutes, the projector goes dark. Is the bulb burned out? Or do I have other problems?? I've had the projector for about 16 months and have had no problems. Not sure when bulb needs replacement. Will a bad bulb work fine for 2-3 minutes and then just quit working??

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I have the same pj and it did the same thing to me and a new bulb solved the problem so it could be the same with yours.

The manual/user guide that comes with the projector most likely has a trouble shooter in the back.

Also bulbs are rated for so many hours. I am sure that is documented as well. You could look that up and figure out by your viewing habits it you have hit the magic #.
