Opinons on Paradigm Reference

Hi all,

I have been auditioning the Canadian Paradigm Reference Studio 60 v3. They are quite an attractive speaker as well as having great sound and will run on my Denon 2807 with no problem. I have also listened to the Pro Ac, KEF, B&W 600 and 700, of which I like the 700';s but they are all just a touch more then I want to spend.

Has anyone had experience with the Paradigm Reference. I understand that a Studio 60 v4 is out and will be auditioning them after Christmas. Evidentially Paradigm has incorporated the tweeter from the Signature series in the v4 Studio's

I've owned the 60's V3 for about 6 months now and love 'em. Great speaker for both HT and music (15-85 in my case). The V4 is not yet available from my dealer yet so I have'nt been able to hear the new line. The 3 is a wonderful speaker and if you can get a 30-35% discount on the outgoing models you might want to give that some thought. I got my new CC-570 center on a similar deal and couldn't be happier. Happy Listening! - B

I too am waiting to hear the .v4 Studio 100's, they were supposed to be in today, but they didn't come in with the shipment... Anyways..
They did get a pair of the new Studio 20's hooked up to a Bryston 100x2.
They were simply amazing.. I couldn't believe how much power and clarity, from bottom to top they had..
They were in the same room as the B&W 703's, and I too didn't want to spend that kind of money.. But to be honest, I think those 20's, yes the 20's sounded better to me then the 703's, I couldn't believe my ears I thought they had more bass.. maybe the 703's were more clear, or richer in the higher end, but to me they rocked the B&W's.. I really think that the B&W 800 series is more comparable to the Studio line.. in sound that is..

I'll be buying a full surround Studio 100's, cc-690 and ADP-590.. I have listened to all flavors of speaks, and the new studio's rock.. Great bang for the buck...

Give them a listen, I don't think you will be disappointed..
I just wish they came in wood vaneer.. Other then that.. they're great..

I bought a cc590 and my studio 20's v4 just came in today.I love the sound and quality.I will be getting the 60's and adp590's in the next few weeks.
