What are the speakers? What are your general feature/connectivity requirements? Budget?

Yamaha 3060 is about to be replaced with the 3070.... best sound quality I've heard from a receiver in a while!

SR-7011 in you need multichannel analog inputs, otherwise:

Denon AVR-X6300H if you don't mind the extra $ and a touch more output.
Denon AVR-X4300H if you want the best deal for the same level of sound quality, and if this model has all the features you need.

I am kind of leaning this way after looking around a bit yesterday. The Salks will be here tomorrow and the Sub is right behind so I'm trying to make a quick best decision. If I can get the 6300 for not a whole lot more I will go with it but for now it's looking like the 4300 is a great choice.

Completely agree - the 3060 sounds fantastic for music and movies, and runs cool as a cucumber.

Well I think I'm going to wait on the 3070 to drop in July then pick between it the SR7011 and X6300H.

X900e is the one I have narrowed down to so far. Would you recommend it for someone who is used to the superb deep black and natural color of the Pioneer Elite Pro-101FD ? The Sony is selling for $2699 at Bestbuy.ca at the moment, and I can wait until it goes on sale as my Pioneer is still performing like when it was new.

While I don't have much experience with the Pioneer Elite I will say I couldn't be happier with the x900e. I was back and forth between it and the OLEDB6P and I'm glad I went with the Sony. I spent quite a few hours watching them at best buy side by side lol. It's brighter and the blacks are just as deep to my eye anyway. Like I said earlier when they run a sale and the 75" drops a bit I'm going to get it.
