Opinions on external HD media players

I am getting burnt out on burning dvds and i was wondering if anyone has any experiance with thoes devices that play multiple formats on your TV.

Like the WD TV or GoFlex TV...

I use a Dune HD Smart H1, and it works fantastically for all of my blu-ray rips. The only gripe I had with it was that it couldn't skip chapters with an MKV format, but that has been fixed in the most recent firmware update. Check them out here:

I tried the WD HDTV (or something like that) a couple years ago. I converted 50 movies from my collection to a 1TB HD back then and was just getting started. It played the movies just fine, if I remember, but the most irritating thing ever was that I could not access the main menues or the special features of the discs. Grrr. I tried for 2 weeks to find a work around and finally sent it back. Then I came across the BriteView 5005 HD. It does everything so far, even menues and special features. Had it for 2 years. I think they have newer models out, but it's a good started model. For the money, at the time, it was perfect for me and still works great. Oh and it connects to the net for streaming, and networking to my pc and stuff, but I don't use that.
