Open floor plan help

Ok i could use some serious help with this. Where do i place my surround speaker in a open floor plan?

This is what i currently have.


60" LCR custom
Bipole Fluance Surround
Polk Sub

now i may update some of the gear but right now the big thing is my surround.

Option 1 Green 5.1 Surround on back wall

Option 2 Blue 5.1 Surround ceilling mounted slightly behind the the seating area


Option 3 Red 7.1 Surround ceilling and Side mounted

I'm assuming your back wall is far behind the seating area and side walls are far too? What are the room dimensions? Seating arrangement?
