ONKYO TX-SR806 Strange Picture

Turned on my Onkyo TX-SR806 this morning and had this very strange picture....

I unplugged the HDMI cable and plug it back in....

I tried unplugging the Onkyo receiver...

I tried the HDMI cable in another location on the Receiver...

I can see the PS3 when i which it to GAME/TV Mode....the Picture is perfect

Can anyone explain this.... is the receiver shot....

It seams to be only the CABLE/SAT ...

OK we can Close this POST it has been SOLVED....


So now i know what it looks like to have a bad CABLE...

OMG.... i paid $ 70.00 for that cable....

And your right it was the CABLE....

Next time i purchase an inexpensive cable

Yes i like Monoprice as well but, did not want to wait for shipping.... so i dropped by Walmart and picked one up for $ 40.00 for 6 feet...thanks
