Onkyo TX-SR805 receiver

Everything works except the 12V DC trigger output.
Comes with the remote, microphone, manual.

Currently in storage, so I would need a couple days to get it ready for shipping, but checking to see if anyone is interested in purchasing it.

$450 + Fedex ground.

Yeah, is it still available?

And Jeremy, may I ask you why you're selling it?

Sorry was away from a computer since I left work yesterday.

It is so far still available. Selling because I've already got separate amps and the Emotiva UMC-1 is supposedly going to be available by the time I get moved into my new place in NC.

Is it still under warranty? How much would it cost to get the 12V trigger repaired?

I'm pretty sure it's no longer under warranty. About the 12V repair question... no idea how much it would cost. I just used a 120VAC-12VDC adapter plugged into the AC trigger outlet. That was more convenient for me anyway since Onkyo links the 12VDC trigger to the "Zone 2" activation and I wanted a Zone 1 trigger.

I know it's been a while, but is the receiver still available?

Yes it is still available. Everything is getting loaded on a moving truck this Friday, so let me know by Wednesday if you want to buy it.

Thanks,
Jeremy

The cosmetic condition is excellent. Functional condition is fine with the exception of the 12V dc trigger, as I stated in the first post.

Any scratches, dings or dents?
Nope, nothing like that. I wouldn't consider it excellent condition if there were any visible flaws.

If you are seriously thinking about buying it, I will see if I can get it out of storage tomorrow or Wednesday and take some photos.

I'm thinking about it, although I just tripped over an ad tonight selling one for $375 mint, if he's willing to ship it. I haven't heard back from him yet. It'll be hard to pass that one up... I hope you understand, but I'll keep in touch either way.

He sold it already, so let's do it. I prefer UPS shipping though. FedEx is a pain in the you know what. Do you have Paypal?

I'm having a hard time trying to find an audio rack and tv stand that will accommodate that monster and my tv at the same time due to the weight and heat issue of the 805. This isn't looking good, sorry man. I know I seem to be going back and forth, I apologize.

Just in case you find something that works, here are the photos of the unit.

Shipping to Toledo, OH would be approximately $43.

I think it weighs about 50 pounds, need at least 6 inches or so clearance above it or else one of those fan units that sits on top and exhausts the hot air toward the back.

Man, that's a beauty. The audio rack with the most clearance that I've found so far would be about 4 1/2". The 805 is taller than most receivers.
