Looking for troubleshooting help on my Onkyo receiver. My setup is straightforward, the Onkyo Receiver, DirectTV HD-DVR, LG Bluray, Samsung LCD. Problem is that when I turn on the system, be it the DVR or Bluray, I get "No Signal" on the TV for anywhere between 3-10 minutes before the sound comes through and eventually the picture. Sometimes I have to turn the whole system off and back on for it to come through. The strange thing is that I get the initial power up screen on the LG bluray player and I can get the progress screen on the DVR if I reset it in the beginning, but then don't get the actual cable or bluray signal, so it would seem that some signals get through and some don't. I originally thought the HDMI cable(s) failed but I replaced all of them. If I connect the DVR or Bluray directly to the TV, no problem. I'm not sure if it's the HDMI output on the receiver that has gone bad or if there is some setup conflict between the components and the receiver.
The receiver used to work fine, but the problem began when I swapped TV's and replaced our DVR due to it failing.
Has anyone else seen this issue? I'm trying to avoid replacing the receiver
