hi, totally newbie here, please don't start flaming!
i have an onkyo TX-SR602 audio receiver + b&w bi-wired speakers. i simply want to test the sound. i tried with an lp player (+ pre-amplifier), my macbook, a dvd player, but no luck.
i connected a dvd player with an optical cable (opt1), selected this through the menu, but all i can hear is very low sound. i reset the settings to make sure i didn't misconfigure anything.
i am totally clueless here, i think it's something very stupid. any pointers? much, MUCH thanks in advance.
