Anyone getting outrageously overpriced branded meds here in US from Canadian Pharmacies? If so care to share the names? PM me if you rather do it privately.

Trump 1.0 had proposed US should not pay more than the highest price paid the developed countries. Trump 2.0 has withdrawn the proposal.

I use Canada Pharmacy to get Xarelto for my cat. It’s been great and has saved some serious money. Even through Costco’s pharmacy it’s ridiculously expensive.

My cat has cardiomyopathy and one chamber of his heart is dilated… that dilated chamber was forming a clot. One vet study showed significant improvement of life expectancy by combining Xarelto into the mix with clopidegrel. He’s been on this cocktail for almost 2 years … 8 days short of second anniversary of his first cardiology appointment.

I am contemplating sending an email to https://www.whitehouse.gov/contact/ on three items.
Promises made promises kept -
1. No tax on Social Security
2. Reinstate SALT
Negotiate drug prices that he had proposed in his first term.

BTW, he does have the authority to do so for Medicare under the Inflation (Reduction - HA!) Act.

It may go directly to SPAM but at least I will have the satisfaction that I tried. I did send Trump 1.0 WH an email and got a response for the specific issue indicating some underling at least read it. In contrast response from Biden WH for a specific issue was a form letter that absolutely remotely had nothing to do with the topic I raised.

I do write to my House and Senate reps on various topics. On two occasions they helped me shake loose pending actions from two different Agencies.
