I've had the onkyo tx-nr709 receiver now for over a year. Ever since my house lost power the receiver has a orange light where it says HDMI THRU on the receiver and also it says hdmi on the screen(this is when it's off). Today I noticed that even though the receiver has been off for over 24 hours the top of the unit is a bit warm.
I feel that it's on standby mode or something. Anyone know what's going on here?
I would hate for it to be using power on standby mode. I suppose I can just unplug it but I don't think I've had this issue before the losing the power incident. Before that event when the unit was powered off there was nothing on the screen nor a orange light.
