Onkyo TX NR 907

I,m new to this Forum just signed up today
Just wanted to ask if anyone has heard or knows when the New Onkyo TX NR 907 Receiver will be out? Heard about this on another Forum. Was going to purchase the Onkyo TX NR906 untill I heard about this one. Has the new Dolby Pro Logic IIz. Hope it also has the new HDMI 1.4 Version.
This is getting off the Receiver question. Has anyone heard when the Acoustic Research ARRX 18G remote will hit the retail market? Company said Spring of 2009,that has passed and nobody seems to know anything else about this remote.

Hi Char 57, and welcome to Audioholics HT Forums.

There is no specific date of release yet for the Onkyo TX-NR907 (if this would be called that # model anyway, but I gess so).

But my best guess is late summer or early fall, or perhaps later in the fall of this year. The best info that I got so far, are mentioned in the thread called "* Everything to know about A/V Receivers but were afraid to ask *"

It certainly will have Dolby Digital Pro Logic IIz with the two Height channels.
But I'm not sure that it will also have two additional amplifiers for these speakers.
And I don't think that it will have the latest HDMI version 1.4a, which as for now is not necessary at all (and probably for still a few years).

Id I was you, soon that the 907 appears, I would purchase the 906 for a further discount (my guess is that the 906 will be approximatively $1,000 by then). Because it will be then discontinued.

And as for the remote Acoustic Research ARRX 18G, I don't have a single clue.
Just try Googling it.
