I just hooked up my Onkyo TX-8511 and it sounds wonderful when playing CD's, or tapes, or the phonograph, BUT..........................when I tune in a strong FM station, I get a noticeable hiss in the background. I had an old 23 year old Sansui in the same location with no problem at all. The Sansui just didn't have enough places in the back to plug in all my components, thats why I bought the TX-8511. I have tried 2 different indoor FM antennas, adjusted sound and the treble, etc., etc. Any suggestions on how to fix this problem??
