My Onkyo TX-SR607 is currently supporting a 5.1 surround sound speaker system in my family room. It's configuration consists of an HD cable box and an LG Blu-ray player connected to it via HDMI with another single HDMI cable that runs out to my TV. I would like to utilize the zone 2 capability of the receiver to listen to music on a pair of outdoor speakers. My girl likes to listen to Pandora in our family room through the SS by way of our wireless internet connectable Blu-ray player. My question is: Would this still be possible through the Zone 2 speakers? The manual says only analog inputs can be played.
Not sure if this matters, but we would only need to listen to 1 zone at a time.
Please tell me I DO NOT have to buy another receiver to achieve this.
