Can anyone tell me what they think of the jbl studio series? I want to upgrade from original onkyo 3-ways that I've had since I purchased the Onkyo home audio system back in 1990. My room is 15 x 20 hardwood. I'm partial to warm sounding speakers at moderate listening levels. I've listened to some speakers:

Definitive - muffled sounding
KLipsch - harsh
Polk- weak
Martin Logan - good sound but no 3-ways

Have about 1k to spend. Cerwin Vega, JBl, ?

Any thoughts?

I have been listening to JBL L890 for about a month. It sounds really good with my arcam a38 and rblink Bluetooth receiver. I have not tried my oppo 105d yet. So far, I likes it. Bass sounds great. Vocal sounds exceptional. This speaker will bring you to a concert hall when you hear a good quality lossless musics. It is a great speaker for bucks. I feel like I am in a concert hall when I listen to music with it. I enjoy watching musicals and operas. You will not hear the best sounds from it when you listen to music in low volume. You have to turn the volume up a bit to hear the best sounds.
