ONKYO HT-S6100 Playstation 3 not registering

I have a ONKYO HT-S6100, i works great for my needs save one issue...

When i turn on my PS3 (which is my blueray, and media server) i sometimes have to wait for 20 minuets for it to pop up on the screen. I've tried different HDMI inputs and i get the same issue. All other devices via HDMI pop up as they should when they are tuned on.

The PS3 works fine when connected directly to my SAMSUNG ToC 52" 1080p 120Hz LCD HDTV.


Any thoughts? I called Onkyo and ofc they want me to send it in... didn't troubleshoot at all... I'm just wondering if there may be a setting some place...

One more thing..

Just to take my PS3 out of the loop, I have tried 2 other PS3s with different firmware, and models. Same issue...

Any thoughts?

Well I see that you tried different inputs and different devices...have you tried a different cable?
