Onkyo HT-RC360: Cannot play music to reciever from WMP

I recently purchased the Onkyo HT-RC360 and have been extremely happy with the results. However, the one thing that I would still like to be able to do with it is play music to the receiver from Windows Media Player. I was able to do this a couple times when I first set it up, but now anytime that I attempt to play something to it I get the following message from WMP:

Device cannot be controlled
Your device is currently locked by another user or device. Please try again later.
HRESULT: 0x80040369
UPnP Error: 705

All of the other networking features work great, and I can control the media on my computer through the receiver. However, I would like to be able to control it form my computer, because lets face it, although the Onkyo interface is good, its no Windows 7.

i have the exact same issue

ht rc360
windows 7 / windows media player 12.0.7601.17514

i have managed to get it working once, but its not able to connect now, same error message:

device cannot be controlled
your device is locked by another user or device

any ideas?
