Onkyo DVD Player Software Updates

Hi Group,

First post.

I have an LG BD-390 Blue Ray DVD player. I also subscribe to DISH, who has announced they are going to provide Blockbuster streaming service to their customers free for a period of time.

My problem is that the LG player does not have Blockbuster as a choice for streaming vendors.

Should I expect that LG will update the software to include Blockbuster as a choice for network sources?

I just don't know what the major equipment vendor's trackrecord is regarding software updates so I don't know what to expect.

I should have named this thread an LG software updates.............

Just got a new Onkyo TX-NR809 so Onkyo is on my mind!
