its phillip Audioholic Ninja Apr 4, 2011 #3 I hope they come out soon, though. Nice consumer 30" monitors have been around at 2560x1600 for quite some time now, but nothing higher...not that I have one :/

BoredSysAdmin Audioholic Slumlord Apr 4, 2011 #4 Well, there are 4K projectors, but I find it hard to believe that anyone sane will drive $150,000 projector (or $80k for "cheap" "crappy" one) with consumer grade AVR http://www.slashgear.com/jvc-dla-sh7nlg-d-ila-4k2k-projector-5x-full-hd-resolution-1878173/ http://www.engadget.com/2008/09/17/sony-stuns-with-srx-t110-srx-t105-4k-x-2k-projectors/

DenPureSound Senior Audioholic Apr 6, 2011 #5 I am thinking either about Onkyo or Denon at this point, but don't need 4K on HDTV, as mine only goes up to 1080p. Have the Denon AVR-3311CI, and just love that model. Wonder how the Onkyo's stack up to Denon?
