How long have you been using this receiver? Any cosmetic damage or anything? I'm a newbie looking for a receiver for my iQ7 and I'm hoping to find a great one so I do no need to upgrade in future.

Only for a couple of months. It's in great condition. No cosmetic damage. It would be a perfect match for your needs.

Your speakers won't work very well without some sort of speaker-powering device. What are you going to do? My best wishes to you with the taxes. Hopefully you can get a replacement soon and not have to sell too much other stuff to pay that mean big brother guy.

Cheese and a hamster.;) If I tie them to my head I can hear faint voices.

Oh wait those are the voices already in my head.

Actually I'm grabbing a cheaper receiver. Doesn't have all the bells and whistles of the Onkyo, but It will be sufficient for my setup. HK 247 It's about half the price on good ole ebay. When I get my sub finished I will end up using an external amp for the front 3 anyway so the step down in power won't hurt in the long run. So I can fully integrate my subs with the DCX2496. Of course that's after Uncle Sam gets his portion.

The IRS doesn't play games so I'm gathering all I can to pay em off. I'm so glad I'm not a contractor anymore.
