Onkyo 705 / Sharp Aqous Help

Okay, Its all hooked up and no picture on the TV

explorer 4250hd box to the 705 input
assigned the hdmi # 1 output to to TV
Speakers, CD and VCR/DVD combo player hooked up

Everything works sound wise (Cable TV, CD, FM, and the DVD player), just there is no picture on the TV......................

Not too familiar with the new onk, but:

Make sure you have the right source selected on both the receiver and the TV. At least that's where I'd start. I assume the TV is on..

I pulled the HDMI cable from the TV to the output on the receiver, and put the other HDMI cable (from the cable box / receiver) in its place.

I could actually see the 705's menu screen for the first time...
Bad cable? Stay tuned, also bringing the cable box back
