Onixi Rocket vs. Axiom Floorstanders

I am interested in opinions on the Onix Rocket RS750 floorstanding speakers. I hear plenty of talk about the Axioms on this forum but not much on the Rockets.

On paper, it looks like the Rockets would be in a higher price and performance bracket then the Axiom M60's. On the Rockets, the real wood veneer looks better, four woofers provide higher power handeling, and the vifa tweeter should equal the highs of the Axioms.

Give me some feedback on your experience with the Rockets or Axioms.

Is this used? They don't make the 750s any longer. They've been replaced by the 760s. The Vifa tweeter is superior to the one on the Axioms. I haven't heard the Axiom floorstanders, but having heard the bookshelf versions I can say the midrange is probably going to be a bit better with the Axioms. The 750SEs that I heard have a TON of bass and sure seem like they will handle plenty of power, and look great to boot. Let me say one thing though, the "bigfoot" center is HUGE, but it is one of the best center speakers I've heard, if that factors into the decision.

I've heard the M60 and the Rocket 550 in the same room same gear and would take the 550. I don't know how the 760 is voiced.
