Play my Blue October cd "Foiled" I am programming and testing a multi-room system for a side job and ordered three Oppo DV980h's to go with the system. I noticed this clipping/popping sound out of both speakers at any volume as i was testing the IR control of the dvd player through the main unit. My first thought was oh great. The amp is DOA. (very heavy, Very not cheap to send back to fix) Tested the cables. brought out a second oppo. same thing. Tried different channels on the amp. same thing. Hooked the amp to my computer.. Its fine! Tried a different cd in the oppo. Perfect! Ok so now we know Oppo sucks at playing Blue October! Plays fine in my Rega cdp!
