Steve Earle - Townes. He got a Grammy (best contemporary folk) for his CD of songs by Townes Van Zandt. Earle is a favorite of mine. The "hard core troubadour" has had quite a life, migrating from redneck south to Greenwich Village in NYC, from druggie to clean, now doing a great CD of that country music muse, Townes Van Zandt. Highly recommended for fans of this sort of gnarly solo music.
