Sublime hard bop. Of a piece with Kind of Blue even though it's not modal. Bonus tracks available on various reissues are nice, but for the perfect listening experience play only tracks 1-5. Try it and you'll hear what I mean.

I've been following this thread the last 3 weeks and I want to thank you all for turning me onto some good tunes. As a collector it doesn't get any better than this and I'll be annoyingly posting some songs I like. Now back to page 77 while I try to catch up.
