Stick it to them Alex!! :D:p
That's kind of what I was wanting to do to Martha Davis until Doug burst my bubble ... and I found out she was born in '51. So my record store is going out of business and they've discounted everything by 50%. I should have thrown my first record player in the dumpster because this is getting out of hand. However a pristine copy of Introducing The Hardline According To Terence Trent D'Arby is another well recorded LP like Tracy Chapman's self titled album.

Thanks for the tip. I'll keep my eyes open for that one. Sorry to hear about the loss of your vinyl store? How far away is the next closest one?

Who cares? I'm just happy this one is going so that I can maybe get back to being somewhat normal but I'm happy to have gotten my hands on a 'Not For Sale - Promo (not homo) Copy' 12" Pretenders Back in the Chain Gang and My City Was Gone that is truly out of this world. I took it out to listen to on the main system to see what that would be like ... different than Mantown, that's for sure. I guess I might as well mention that I also scored this copy of Fine Young Cannibals The Raw & The Cooked.

It was 2 bucks. ... and it too sounds great.
Now I sound like the broken record but for the $14 I spent there yesterday I sure got some cool stuff. Genesis, Rod Stewart, Duran Duran, Iron Butterfly ... there's more ... Phil Collins, Procol Harem ... that's about it but there's multiple Rod Stewart and Genesis. :)

You Got Another, from the Drive By Truckers, "The Big To Do". It's a big epic sound from the latest great release among so many by DBT, arguably one of the best bands around these days.

Weak and Powerless
Tilling my own grave to keep me level
Jam another dragon down the hole
Digging to the rhythm and the echo of a solitary siren
One that pushes me along and leaves me so
Desperate and ravenous
So weak and powerless
Over you
Someone feed the monkey while I dig in search of China
White as Dracula as I approach the bottom
Desperate and ravenous
So weak and powerless
Over you
Pale angel, go away
Come again some other day
The devil has my ear today
I'll never hear a word you say
Promised I would find a little solace
And some piece of mind
Whatever just so long as I dont feel so
Desperate and ravenous
So weak and powerless
Over you
Over you

Love that tune!:D

I'm listening to Salt Shaker by the Ying Yang Twins. I suggest reading the lyrics, as it is a testament to mankind's creativity.

The song changed, now its Mozart: Violin Concert #2 in D, K 211 - Allegro.

Not a weak song in that whole album. One of singers came from Tool according to allmusic.com.
