I like the new Wet Leg songs. They seem to be getting less playful and more edgy. Have you listened to Catch These Fists over stereo speakers? I swear there is some 3D trickery going on there. When the chorus kicks in, the sound stage gets more expansive and it sounds like my surround speakers are active, but when I check the AVR settings, only the front L+R are on. Pretty cool bit of mixing.

I think it is a bit of phasing. There are a couple of NIN songs that do that too. If you listen to the album version of Right Where it Belongs. It starts around 3:00 and slowly expands from centered to a full wrap around and it is pretty cool. You can hear it on a big system, but I hadn't really noticed how much of an effect it really was until one time when I was listening to it on headphones.

Wet Leg is a pretty fun band so far. I am enjoying their stuff.

Listened to the Wet Leg and NIM suggestions. Good stuff. This is one of the ways I keep adding new music to my classic rock playlists. Thanks.

And this from Jethro Tull released earlier this year. Its a solid album and should be added to everyone's Tull collection

I came across Wet Leg on a Youtube suggestion. I think it was Chaise Longue and then I searched for their other material. I have their first album and it's a lot of fun with a bit of retro feel to it. Their videos are low budget but I get a real kick out of them. I think most of the songs from the first album have videos. They also have a Tiny Desk video and the Live on the Porch video is really good too. One of my favorites is Ur Mum:

Visiting my daughter and helping her out with my grandson since her hubby is away for 30+ days on training exercises for the military. Everything I'm listening to is from you tube and I use thsi time to explore new and old bands I know nothing about. Case in point here is a band called Budgie

Good for you grandpa. You deserve some time listening to music. I’ve been a grandpa for 6 years and I love helping out. How old is your grandson?
