I have a finished basement room that is approximately 18x40x9 that opens into a stairwell. I am planning to use half of the room as a media center and the other half as a game room. I am starting the process and was hoping for listening recommendations for on-wall (not in-wall) speakers for the LCR speakers. Budget is about $7500 for the LCR speakers. I have thought of Totem Tribes and James speakers. Martin Logan, EFX? Vienna Acoustics, Schonberg series? Any others? The Wisdom Audio speakers are too expensive, and I suspect that even at street prices the Revel Gem 2 also will be out of my range. Other recommendations and any listening experiences appreciated.
