"as good as you expect" is a pretty ambiguous term.
Virtually every speaker company has a "family" sound. While not every speaker in the line will sound exactly alike, you can generally pick out a similarity across the line.
Few reputable speaker manufactures produce speakers that, well, "suck", but you may or may not like the family sound, or even that of the particular speaker in the line.
IOW, only you can tell if you like their sound or not. Once you get 'em, keep them for as long as possible before you return 'em. This is not so much for allowing the speakers to "break in" as it is to allow you to get used to their sound, which will undoubtedly be different than to what you're accustomed.
