The logical steps are laid out - we have seen them before.
Trump has already been following the precursor steps, which achieved the NAZI rise to power in 1931/32.
Now he seeks his own Reichstag fire to declare an emergency, martial law, and solidify domestic control... (perhaps a nice war would achieve that)
Then the elimination of undesirables can proceed apace.
