Is that a DLP? Any rear projection set with a bulb for the backlighting should be used for at least 100 hours or so before ISF calibration, at least that seems to be the consensus from what I have read.

I would use the TV for a few hours a day for at least a week and then do the basic calibration using AVIA or DVE. Then only if you feel something is lacking, go for the ISF calibration.

Yes its a 1080p DLP. Thanks for the advise. Ill definatly do that, espically because I just got my Avia DVD yesterday :D. I had another calibration disk by Ovation that was more user friendly and less in depth.

Here is a quick pic. I have to finish cleaning up my lil HT area and maybey get a nice stand before Ill take a ton of pics. Let me know what you all think. Also should I get some hours on it before making any adjustments, or does it matter?

Nothing wrong with testing the setup with your test disc now. At least you can tame some critical setting, sharpness and contrast so it is not over driven. You can always come back and check again later:D
