I did an AH search and didn't see any threads on this product. A levitating Bluetooth speaker, supposedly capable of 110db. They aren't in production yet. Looks interesting.

They do look interesting and cool - however, the website does not give me a good feeling.
It seems like they need money for some type of support. I would not place an order for it
3 months in advance - not even for a tee shirt. Time will tell, at least it could make a
good conversation piece.

Doesn't look like they need the cash for the site or for marketing. Marketing is fine, it's a new product and there has to be an interest generated for sales to be made, I just wish that video would have delved deeper into the product.

I like community pools where people pitch in to make a great idea a reality. However, this is [going to be] a commercial product not an engineer's project he wants to share with the world/community. If Om Audio wants me to be a financial backer in any scope I want more than a promise the product will be cool and $20 bucks off the asking price. For 3k you get two orbs of any color, dinner with the CEO in a predetermined restaurant near San Francisco, a prototype of the orb signed by the team and a T-shirt. 3k is enough for almost 17 orbs (not to mention a pair of pretty decent headphones, floorstanding speakers, etc) so I trade 14 orbs for a T-shirt and dinner with the CEO? MEH.
