I have a marantz sr8200, its a few years old and doesnt have hdmi inputs.I am using a component input with optical audio. The thing is all the new tvs have hdmi inputs and they switch to hd automatically. On my older crt tv i have 2 switch the inputs now to get to hd. My ? if i plug the hdmi in can i use thatand also use an optical audio. to try and avoid switching the inputs every tiome i want hd channels. Or does anyone have a good way to use the older tv with component with a new tv thanks
