older onkyo txds676 or yamaha htr 5940

I currently have both purchased the yamaha because of lack of inputs on my tv. That is not a problem any more purchased a samsung htl5076 with plenty of inputs for all my sources. I am driving klipsch kg 3.5s for my mains, ksc c1 for the center, and synergy s1 surrounds. 5.1 is all i need so that is not a concern which is a better quality unit. what would you choose thanks.

I would probably stick with the Onkyo, it's going to have a bit more power and possibly connections. The benefits of the Yamaha would be that it is newer and has newer Dolby Pro Logic II decoding, but the amplifier section won't stack up to the Onkyo. I have personal experiance with that Yamaha. I have used two receivers from that Onkyo series and both where very good. The TX-DS474 (which would also be a bit better for power) and the TX-DS787 (very hefty receiver with THX processing).
