That is a lot of equipment failure. It is therefore quite possible you have a very dirty poorly regulated mains supply. This problem is getting more and more common and severe. Surge protectors are pretty much useless. After all that trouble I would seriously consider purchasing a smart UPS with very fast response times. Purchase a big enough one to run everything off that.

I had the same curse at the beginning of the year. My laptop caught on fire, i had a crossover go out on my boston's, my truck broke down, and my sister was in a bad car accident. But after that alot of things started to go right so just keep your head up and things will be ok.

I was thinking the same thing. But the MFW15 has been reported to have a problem amp.

But I'm with you. I have almost everything in my theater on smart UPS's. Only some of my power amps are not on UPS's. It's really pretty cheap insurance. I personally like the APC SmartUPS. You can pick up factory refurbs and new returns from the APC factory outlet:
