Ok, I stopped at Audio Ventures in Waukesha, WI to see what they carried. Bill was a very nice guy and took his time and answered my questions. Can't argue with the service!
So now that I'm in a different room setting, the Klipsch horns start coming through more and I'm starting to lower them as an option for my room. Being that my room is large and "bright" or "active." Ie: lots of hard surfaces. So I listed to a pair of Jamo tower speakers. I can't remember the exact model, but think the S 426. They sounded pretty nice in that room.
Then I listed to an older pair of Bang & Olufsen (If I got the name right) mains. There were 5 way towers and do not show up on their webpage. Now these had a nice full sound I can best describe them as full body. At comparable volume, the Klipsch upper frequencies kind of pounded on me and wore me down. The B&O didn't.
Argh!!

I can get the pair of B&O for $700. Anyone have experience with these? The searches I did tended toward their newer space age stuff that looks like something out of a '50's sci-fi movie. These are not those!
Anyone tested Jamo?
