Oh, Brother! A HK 430 or a Onkyo 602?

Hey,
My brother has caught the bug and is now interested in updating his stereo system to a HT system. He is now looking at me for some help. Good one!

I have seen the HK 430 drop in price this month to where its within $75 (un-haggled) of the new Onkyo 602. To me its like splitting hairs. Both I consider very good. Both are also viewed favorably by this forum.

My brother has an assortment of speakers he wants to use, a couple of Athena and PSB. I don't belive it will be a problem that the Athena are 8 Ohm and the PSB are 6 Ohm. Both recievers are fit enough to do the job.

Any opinions out there, on these two receivers? Much appreciated.
