I wonder if that was real or staged. There's a segment called "War of the Roses" on one of the stations here (well, at least there was years ago before I stopped listening to them) that, as it turns out, is apparently a service that the station pays for and it's all actors.

I don't doubt it, but this one the hook and bait was pretty good. Like, they seemed genuinely wary she'd hang up so they approached it from the ring aspect rather than the cheating.

Awkward thing is how excited they are about it. heh.

We have the exact same thing here on one of the the dipsh*t morning shows. Not even a shock-jock guy... just some idiot and his posse trying to be a modern in-touch man. They even call the same thing. It's staged, bought and paid for.

Any prank phone call you hear on the radio is fake. Radio stations just don't do it anymore because of all the legal issues.
