Not the same without the teleprompter for " EL PRESIDENTE "
He didn't have a teleprompter... true... instead he had a huge LCD in the back of the room instead. You could see it in certain shots.
It's all so predictable... the "outrage" over AIG bonuses when it was the administration who asked to have the verbiage preventing it in the first place put back in the bill.
Gone was the chuckling... after Kroft asked him if he was "punch drunk" in his interview. (look that up.. it's priceless)
So far, they seem to be taken aback that they're actually being held accountable... by at least some... for the things they said, say now and do.
"NO LOBBYISTS in my administration" ... except after the few I hire right now
"NO EARMARKS" ... except in my bill I raced to have passed which has more wasteful, pet project spending than any bill in the history of the US
"WE WILL BE THE MOST TRANSPARENT ADMINISTRATION" ... except for right now (even the liberal media reports that they have more closed meetings and blackouts than Bush ever had)
"I"M OUTRAGED TOO" ... because I didn't realize that any of you would actually scrutinize me and hold me to my word... where'd the love go?
hmmm... maybe he's thinking, " his Presidency things is tough... maybe a tad bit of experience would have been beneficial.... nahhhh... I'm the chosen one... now go get my golden unicorn so I can fly over and survey all that I rule"
Seriously... I have never seen such and arrogant, pompus, insincere demeanor of any president. The hopes that my concerns would be assuaged
have been dashed.
