That is more disgusting than anything else. Being in college I have seen many people throw away their lives to video games whether it be Halo, World of Warcrack or something else. I have had friends who have gotten 0.0 GPA for a semester or close too as well as one friend who lost his fiancee to those stupid games. Most of them also seem to lose all their real friends in the process as well.

After seeing so much of this it seemed like these people only had themselves to blame and personally I hope they get one hell of a pissed off judge because their is no excuse for what these parent have done. Even with the addiction defense they are going to use their is no excuse.

You wonder why they had kids:mad:. I wonder if they wore depends, to avoid you know what. IMO there are to many people who don't take parnethood seriously enough. They should all suffer a fate, worst then, that of their children.

I want to throw up after reading that. There is just no excuse for that kind of behavior.

The worst part is the more I think about it the more I realize these parents will probably get a slap on the wrist especially when looking at what they did and given enough time and if they are determined enough, which seems to be the case sometimes, they could probably get their children back after some stupid proper parenting course.

That makes me wonder, how long do you guys usually spent in front of your computer? I myself spend at least 8 hours and few hours more at home. That makes it like 10 hours easily. The rest if for sleeping/showering n stuff then few hours strictly for watching tv/listening to my music (only 2-3 hours/day for this).

Please say it ain't so. Even heroin addicts would feed their own children (if they had any money left). WTF!? Did they feed themselves? Why not feed the baby then? AAAAAAARRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGGG!!!!!!!!

Because of work I probably spend close to 9 hours or so a day. The rest is split up between enjoyment reading, movies, music, cooking or hanging out with friends. Days I don't work I generally spend no more than two to three hours at a computer.

I'm at the computer all day at work. When I get home, unless I actually have something to look up, do work on, pay bills or research, computer time is 30 min or less. Same for days I don't work.

The PS3 on the other hand, I tend to spend at least 1hr on the PS3 a night on whatever game I am playing until it is completed. I am on level 15 of Ninja Gaiden Sigma right now.

I'm retired, so I'll play that card :D I spend 6-8 hours a day on my computers, but listen to XM radio, or CD's the whole time, so I get my moneys worth out of my AV system.

After a hard day of computing, I relax and turn on the Samsung DLP, toss in a DVD or watch TV ;)

This goes on everyday of the week, unless I go somewhere in my wheelchair :)

Darn, I sure hate being retired

Bacause, as you'll find out some day, making babies is fun.

It's caring for and raising them where the problem comes in. That takes commitment, sacrifice, and putting others health and welfare above your own pleasures.

She should be forced to have her tubes tied and he should be forced to havea vascctomy, but with this namby-pamby world, that'll nevver happen.

They'll be free to pump out more.

No, usually will be in the 1-2 time frame, no more  About the only time it was like 4-5hrs was when I fired it up and started playing the first game I bought, Resistance:Fall of Man for the first time. My kids are old enough to take care of themselves too...

I wouldn't call it a disease exactly, but it IS an addiction and like anything else, it is up to the individual to know when it is too much. These people should be shot for what they did to their kids.

That's why i haven't had any kids. I am not willing to sacrifice my time/money on my "future" kids just yet:p. You know once you have kids, the first decade gonna be a whole lot different when you are trying to upgrade anything related to audio.

Better get it all out of your system now:D! If there's one sure thing in life, most people live for their kids or a least untill they move the heck out.:p

Unfortunately, that is true...took a long time before money was able to be "allocated" to audio gear. Wouldn't matter anyway, because with kids there isn't any time to sit and listen :)

Not to mention loud. Even when you do get a chance to listen it's all, "Turn it down! You might wake the baby!" Sheesh!
