Hello

I have Klipsch RF 82II that is powered by marantz Sr7005. I want to play my speakers laud what are setting that I need to change at my AVR??

I believe RF 82II has sensitivity of 98dB, so if i increased the volume should I make speaker loudness reach +110 dB?

Turn the volume up. That is a powerful receiver with highly sensitive speakers. As long as you aren't super far away, you should easily hit 110+ dB.

Generally speaking making speakers loud isn't an issue people need to ask about. You, you know, turn up the volume.

So...does that mean that you are NOT ABLE to make your speakers play loudly, even by turning up the volume?

This is not what I meant, but it will do. :p

Frankly speaking, after I run Audyssey setup, the chanel level has decreased to -5 dB for my main speakers. Now, when I run the sound at zero it doesn't sound laud as it was when I first run the speaker.

What it is really in my mind is; my speaker sensitivity is 98 dB 1W/m, how do I make it run at this level? what the max volume my system can achieve? Does it depend on other hardware; like for instance listening for a track from cd player will be lauded than iPod?

Yeah this what do everyone say, but who cares when watching movies and listening to favorite music track. Moreover, I am gonna lose it anyway, so at least let me have some fun before that time comes :D

Don't you mean "loud"?
this question specially for you, since you have participated on my thread ;).

I am gonaa to use external amplifier to power my main with 400 watt for each channel, how "loud" my speakers can go? :D

Unless you have some illness or congenital defect, you will not necessarily lose your hearing before death. Many older people have hearing problems because they abused their ears when they were younger. Old people who have not abused their ears and who do not get any relevant disease hear very well.

Listening to loud music is not every day practice. I am looking for "spare" power for family gathering or watching movies with friends, etc.

Hearing is precious and I am not planning to lose it. I've just replied "joke" to person and waiting for his response.

This is kind of you to comment on this topic and give an advice. Many thanks
