Prices are very sweet but how much risk is involved with refurbished? Keep in mind that playing the returns game will hardly be an option as I will do cross-border shopping.
Think of it this way. Someone else has already worked out the bugs for you. :) Lots of us, myself included, have refurb units from A4L, and have never encountered a hint of a hiccup. But I'm sure D+M Group has a location in Canada to whom you can send your receiver should it need warranty service or replacement.

I will swap the JBL ESs with your pioneers and will use stands you linked prev. to have the left and right speakers reach the mounted tv to sitting levels. Any recommandation for brackets to wall mount the surrounds?
Are you planning to use your Klipsch RSX-3 as surrounds? Don't the bases already have keyhole mounts you can use to hang the speakers on the wall? Or are you intending to get a second pair of Pioneers to use as surrounds?

Rough layout of my room below: L C R SL SR Sub is the speaker placement, grey is my TV, brown is my L shaped couch and the blue/blue red things are a fish tank and a glass enclosed fireplace.

Are the speakers positioning appropriate?

If it doesn't make sense I'll post real pictures later.
Real pics might be illuminating. Your masterful MS Paint skills notwithstanding, the proportions of the drawing make it hard to offer a recommendation.

I feel Mr. Shroeder's work is influenced by Piet Mondrian's compositions in red white and blue. I like it.

Actually if he is going to use his klipsch speakers as surrounds he can get the Pioneer SP FS52 towers and forgo the speaker stands all together.
With the NXG sub, the Denon receiver from A4L and the pioneer center he should still come in under budget.
So 2x Amazon.com: Pioneer SP-FS52-LR Andrew Jones Designed Floor standing Loudspeaker (each): Electronics
$254
Amazon.com: Pioneer SP-C22 Andrew Jones Designed Center Channel Speaker: Electronics
$97
NXG NX-BAS-500 12" 500-Watt Powered Subwoofer : Speakers | RadioShack.comNXG NX-BAS-500 12" 500-Watt Powered Subwoofer : Speakers | RadioShack.com
$260 (10 dollars cheaper then amazon. :p)
DENON AVR-E300 5.1 3D Networking Receiver AirPlay | Accessories4less
$190
Brings the total to $791, gives him the Towers that he wanted in the beginning, and leaves plenty extra for cables, shipping tax etc...

Looks great! You will love the 52's and no doubt that NXG 500 is a killer. I would go for a Yamamha receiver, but that's me. ENJOY! A4L is great I got my Onkyo from them with no problems.

I am different - I would go with the Tascam PA-R200 receiver.:)
