No sound from my Dali suite 1.2 sub

Well, I thook this guy over to a friends place who has a HSU. Removed HSU and stuck the same cable into this Dali, same thing, barely any sound at all, just a muffled dub dub dub. I am getting it replaced under warranty so quite possible i would never get to know what was wrong with the unit. If I spend some $$, I can get someone to open it up and take a look to figure out but then Dali may not accept it back. .

Are you certain you connected it right? On page 10 of your manual, the LFE output has to connect to socket 10, not 11 or12, otherwise you have two stacked crossovers.
