I'm actually pulling for Minnesota to win the NFC. It would be nice to see Sam Darnold put a cherry on top of a great season. He has pretty much resurrected his floundering career.

while it wouldn't surprise me, I'd rather see Allen MVP and the Bills FINALLY win one. I won't hold my breath...

Speaking of Addison, I heard today that only eleven wide receivers in NFL history have 20 TD's in their first two seasons. And these others guys are Hall of Famers!. That is elite company! Jefferson didn't do it. Moss did. And Jordan Addison has one more game to add to it. I didn't catch if Addison is number 11 or if there are eleven others.

Think we've lost the last five to Eagles, Saints, Giants, Atlanta, and Washington. Newest to oldest. Also I believe to Dallas once in the 70s where the infamous Drew Pearson catch. I might have the receiver wrong but looked like he pushed off on our DB to make the catch.

Guess he died in 2019 but was probably my first hero in football along with Plunkett. I liked Cliff Branch cause he was this small guy but was a deep threat. Don't really remember the 70s as a kid but Oakland was my first love right around 1980. I'm pretty sure I had a Raiders jersey.

I suppose to be honest that's why my current favorite WR was Tyler Lockett. The Russ-Lockett connection cause Russ could throw a good deep ball when he was in Seattle.

Yeah and with 40-50 seconds left or something crazy like that. Sensational offense to waste. I suppose though for as bad as that was Denny was our best coach up to that point until McConnell.

Funny story if you remember the Vikes qb Tommy Kramer from the 80s. He was at a bar in my cousin's town. Asked for Kramer's autograph. Kramer was totally sloshed LOL.
