Hello,
I am about to assemble my first "budget" home theater, and need some advice.

I am looking a three receivers:
Sony Strde 985 $307
Pioneer vsx d811 $287
Panasonic SE200 $349 (based on this site's info)

I will be using my Klipsh Kg4 for the front speakers(94dB-1w/meter, 4 ohm.) Would like to use klipsh for center and rear.

I like the panasonic, but I am worried that their is no Treble or Bass adjustments for the surround output. Is this a problem.

Room for theater is only 13'X15', and will use receiver for CD music as well.

Any advice on the three receivers or others would be great.

Thanks

I was hoping for a little more feedback, but after listening to all 3 receivers I purchased the Panasonic.($349 +tax).

I also ordered up a pair of Axioms Qs2, and Vp500 center channel. Audioshop in Canada.

The price was good and within my small budget.

Hopefully this system will sound fairly well, and last a couple of years, until I save for a complete matched speaker system.

Take back the Panasonic.Get on EBAY and simply buy a Denon 1602 if $350.00 is your maximum $$. It will blow away any of the receivers you mentioned. The main difference is it is truely a "high current amp".What an experience!Email me if you wish at kevinturpin@msn.com
