newbie Help !!!!

I am trying to figure out the problem with my Technics SA-404 receiver.

No sound on Right side only, Any help is good.

yea, I know Bulk postings are a crime.

I am green at forums and in the past there was a obvious place to post, Not sure here.

I just need help and it seems there is not much traffic here or not much response from the admin/Moderators that I have seen on other forums.

I also know this Relic is not a high priority with the people running marantz 2600's.

I still need the help

I think his point was people will see it in one place, you don't need to annoy and post it everywhere. Frustrating people isn't the way to getting help. Give it some time and if someone knows the answer they will post.

With something that old you can pretty much be sure it isn't worth repairing unless it is a very simple thing. Check the A/B speaker selectors. I have a Technics that seems to have problems with that, they need to be played with to get working right. Old electronics are cool, but if they don't work they are usually a lost cause.

Not worth Keeping, Is to me

I do computer repair as a hobie, I also work on a 65 chevelle convertible among other things.

When I have tried the forums in the past, The people are helpfull and supportive.

They also have a ton of manuals, Tec info Ect.

But they have sections defined and seems to be loose on this site.

I figured I would find a Technics section and The Technics crowed.

I work High Voltage for a living, Playing with the small stuff is frustrating without documentation.

Yea, tried all of the Basic troubbleshooting, now looking for bad cap/resister Ect.

Does this site have an archive for repair manuals, or a site that does and I can donate$$$

the E-Bay sites Ect want $20.00 Plus shipping for it and as you know it worth 25.00-30.00 working.

it is more the challange of repairing it and It was Pop's receiver.
